[ can you help this mum re: separation anxiety ] My baby is 7 months, he is usually a lovely, sunny little boy who charms everyone. He used to go to bed at 7pm, wake up once for a feed and then sleep through to between 6-7am. The past 4 nights he has screamed every time either I or his dad has put him in his cot (which he has previously slept in happily). We have had a couple of bottom teeth pop up, but I am pretty sure its not his teeth causing him pain as he will sleep happily on his back next to me in our bed. I have also taken his temperature which is normal. Last night he wouldnt sleep unless he was on me or touching me, needless to say I got very little sleep. This morning he would not even stay with his dad unless I was in sight. I have to return to work soon and cant be up all night with my baby boy. I am also too tired to give him the attention he needs during the day or drive safely. Please any suggestions to help us?
