career vs passion/advocacy? "Pwede mo na namang karerin ang passion mo" i always say this lines to those who are asking my opinion about this. i tell them karerin mo ang iyong personal passion at personalin mo ang iyong passion. but sometimes, i am asking myself where i am now? i am in a totally different world. i missed the stuff that i used to do. going to the hard to reach areas, reaching out...trying to empower and to inspire the disheartened souls. i missed talking with the oppressed, listening to their stories of survival in this subjective world. oh how i missed trekking in the countryside...in a seemingly forgotten barrios...but i have to make decision. i made a 180 degrees turn and this is one of the hardest decisions i ever made. totally strange...totally new and different sphere. as i count my days here, i am able to incorporate my passion to what i am doing now...at kahit nandito ako sa mundong ito, irealized that souls crying and praying for change are omnipresent...they are in everywhere. i am happy na ako na mismo ang nangungusap sa sarili ko at sinasabing karerin mo ang iyong personal at personalin mo ang iyong career. hindi dapat tumitigil ang pakikinig sa mga kwento ng mga ordinaryong tao. ang pakikinig ay wala sa lugar, sa edad ng kausap at maging sa katayuan ng buhay, nasa nilalaman ng puso at senseridad. alam ko, marami pa akong dapat mapakinggang kwento, marami pang mga kaluluwang dapat abutin, mga buhay na dapat bigyan ng lahulugan, pnga pusong dapat punlaan ng pag-asa at dapat pag-alabin.
