#cbcmar Good evening, in the webcast linked below youll find a quick update on the severe thunderstorms in the Midwestern United States. As of 8pm one tornado confirmed in Nebraska and a tornado warned thunderstorm in Iowa (signs of rotation on radar). The low kicking off this severe weather will, by late Thursday, reach Cape Cod and then track into the Maritimes on Friday. It is expected to bring us some much needed rain which will hopefully help ease the wild fire conditions across the Maritimes. I know at this hour a wildfire just outside of Fredericton NB is being fought (gnb.ca/public/Fire-Feu/ffsummap.htm).
