chapter 2 tarson files pages 7 and 8 my past is a bucket full of troubles lyle.. suffice to say im not going run through hoops to gain your trust nor sob my lifes story yet.. just take it or cram it! chat finished with annoyed expression.. want me gone mr gum shoe then im gone.. if not just leave it to run its natrual disaster.. lyle looked at her for the 1st time.. he started with her exotic looking eyes.. she wasnt pacific island or foreign? so what with those crazy eyes.. looked like something from an elfs face in some fantasy comic book he had recently read.. her face was long but wide and high cheek boned.. perky nose a bit long and healthy lips.. feminine features defintely.. nice mouse like ears. turqoise like eyes, tan like skin, her finger nails were a bit sharp and long looking.. after he got a good honest look , he still could not figure her out? nor even to bother give her a hard time any longer. all right i wont press.. just get some rest.. I can tell you hit my wine bottle early morning and I see it dragging on your eyes. Im going back to rest my self.. we can talk about the case around mid afternoon.. I mean hell theres nothing that can be done but to rest our sullen heads.. Happy napping kiddo se ya in a while.. Lyle flopped onto the main office couch and started to doze off.. The orange sun was setting through a sky light he didnt even know about.. Very artsy looks like italian stained glass! he drooled a bit forgetting about his dehydration early.. He reached for the bottle of water on the desk and noticed the entire contents of the four gunmen evidence was on his desk.. Oh okay thanks chat.. chat where are ya.. lyle had dragged his groggy body to the waiting room.. No one was there.. uh.. okay she made another disapearing act again.. Suddenly a lite brown cat came prancing across his feet.. he made a goofy laugh.. hey there new freind.. the cats eyes gleamed a familar turqoise.. So how did you get in here? Oh maybe chat picked you up.. you dont look an alley cat though. short hair.. To clean very well groomed. Nice faded red leather collar.. The cat had jumped onto the waiting room couch as he followed the cat.. There was an air vent not to high above the second smaller couch.. lyle had no chance to study the room though.. The cat suddenly jumps into the air vent.. There was no cover obviously.. kitty kitty he said.. where.. how.. come on fur ball just prance your fancy feet ass out here.. luckily he had his mini flash light.. he started to shine it slowly inside, the light reached about 12 feet. for a full three minutes lyle tried to call for the cats attention.. the only sign was the odd cats shadow which was around a corner inside the large air vent.. big enough to crawl through? lyle said out loud.. shit.. cant believe im doing this! lyle lifted himself inside and sqeezed ruff.. there was half a foot of space to his sides and the shaft was about 3 feet high rounded off.as he easily crawled through he heard the cat hissing? he hurried to get there.. but the cat had stopped abruptly.. lyle was to excited to notice a dark space around the corner shaft.. he was faceing it.. but what was it? he called for the cat.. funny though, the cat was already behind his head dead afraid hideing a small corner. he turned to face the cat trying to make pleasant sounds.. kitty kitty na na nee nee noo.. then he noticed the cats eyes shifting wider.. What silly kitty.. whats down there? lyle turned again.. this time what he saw made him nearly shit himself! a hidious stretched back mangled face no eyes, appears abruptly inches away from.. BOO! lyle gags with fear and quickly rushes past the fear ridden image with out caring if was going to bite a chunk out of his own body.. lyle nose dived hook outward from the air duct shaft and hit the sofa.. he started to hyper ventilate while every rapid breath met his morbid heart beats..swet poored over his eyes.. his body shook like some episepsy episode...
