Attending for two hours weekly, for eight weeks, participants participate in specifically designed hydrotherapy and land-based exercises with healthy lifestyle information, relaxation and peer support. We aim to help you: ■improve mobility and flexibility in your arms and shoulders ■relieve any discomfort you may be experiencing as a result of surgery ■reduce the potential risk of lymphoedema and manage the symptoms of existing lymphoedema ■laugh, relax and have fun Participants are eligible to attend from eight weeks post surgery. YWCA Encore benefits participants regardless of whether they attend eight weeks or 30 years post surgery. Click here to see the Encore Brochure.
