cleanlineenergy/ PLAINS & EASTERN CLEAN LINE RECEIVES REGULATORY APPROVAL IN TENNESSEE We need to stop the eminent domain!! C&L is bypassing the states and are trying to use DOe Section 1222 of the energy policy act as a tool to go through the Federal Government to be able to use eminent domain and take our land! It is my understanding that Section 1222 has never been used and this could set a precedent. In the future, private industry will be able to come in and meet the needs for energy and use eminent domain. If approved, with C&Ls 4 transmission lines, 8 different states are going to be affected by these huge transmission lines. We need to take action now to protect our future generations and our freedom.
