come on.. pushin 50, just got out of jail, work program, bout to get SSI, beggin me for change for beer and cigarettes. he asked me if he could be my driver. if i need to go somewhere and need someone to sit in the car, he would do that. if i got problems, need someone to handle someone, he can do that.. interesting.. i asked him, what did you do to get locked up? he says, got caught slangin that rock. i told him, ask me what i did to end up in jail. he asks me. my response.. ive never been to jail. its because of how i operate. the reality is, your skill set has no value to me. youre a hood nigga. you operate on a wavelength thats useless to me. youre one of these dudes that worry more about his sneaker game than his security. youd rather blow your bank at a strip club than invest in something legitimate. you want the top notch of everything without figuring out how to actually KEEP IT. i cant have people like you around me. i cant function with people who have that mindset. beyond that, youre too old to teach new tricks. youre a corner dude, im a boss. i do boss shit. i move in silence and you make too much noise. i sit back, watch, and plan out solutions. you jump to conclusions, cause drama. so i told him, dont ask me for anything anymore. i wont need your number. i wont need to call on you. youre a loose string and eventually, id have to pull you. i need assets, not liabilities. he walked away....
