cont. Now for my notes or my rant - all I can say is I am so disappointed in Andrew Lloyd Webber, not since the bombing of London has there been such a bomb laid on the city of London. The entire storyline was disjointed it was difficult at times to really understand what some of the characters were there for, one of the few things that I really looked for was some semblance of the original score which at times were one or two bars of music and they would go into something else that was completely disjointed there was very little of the operatic that we would be used to when it comes to dealing with the Phantom of the Opera with ‘Love Never Dies’ you would think that they would at least maintain some of the operatic features of the story but it was nonexistent. They also blew the timeline, remember at the end of the movie that was released several years ago - that two disc set? The count buys the music box with the monkey with the symbols and takes it to the cemetery to give to his deceased wife where you see a picture of Christine as an old woman but still a countess and places the music box at the bottom of her stone and looks over and sees that there is a red rose tied with a black ribbon and the ring that Christine gave the Phantom when they parted company. Completely blows the timeline because she is still young woman when she dies it just does not sit as a cohesive work of art. I am very disappointed that I had to spend $20 to be disappointed and I do plan on putting this up on eBay, if anyone else would be interested in maybe seeing this send a message first come first serve, maybe someone else will like it and I get some of my money back but the two hours watching the film and now the one-hour doing this report is time I will never get back. And I do intend not only to post this to Facebook but I will also be posting it to Amazon where I bought the bloody thing. Thank you for your time and for listening to my rate I feel much better. And for those of you who do not know I was a theater director and I could stage the entire production a lot better than what they did.
