copied More Civil Society Organizations have come forward to join and support the planned 13th January demonstrations with the aim to force repayment of National Aids Commission NAC funds. National Organization of Nurses and Midwives of Malawi NONM, Citizen for Justice, human rights activist Hebrews Misomali are among others that have announced their support. NONM President Dorothy Ngoma said nurses are in support of the demonstrations in demand for repayment of the NAC funds saying nurses are suffering due to lack of NACs support. She called upon all nurses and everyone who feel a pinch of NACs actions to come out in their large numbers to demonstrate their anger on 13th January. Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation Executive Director Timothy Mtambo warned government to stop politicizing the demonstrations saying their issues remain non political as they concern the plight of the less privileged. He said among additional reasons the CSOs want government to resolve judiciary, university of Malawi and Anti Corruption Bureau industrial
