People were being evacuated, police forces were observed mobilising. It appears it might have been a HOAX, released through some page controlled by those who oppose us. A RALLY was taken out at 9.20, to END THIS RUMOUR. CAMPUS IS OURS 2. Todays rally was MASSIVE. People walking with guitars, harmoniums, violins, posters, cameras; singing and chanting. It was almost twice the size of yesterdays rally. At lowest, there were 9000 + people, from more colleges now- Ashutosh, Xaviers, Goenka, Scottish, IEM and Heritage, Mass Com- JU , and random individuals. Our comrades, our companions. 3. Appears that TMCP unions have been trying to prevent students from organising in their own colleges- happened at Scottish and some Law college. If you know students in TMCP led colleges, please try and help them out, ask them what is the situation, are they able to come and reach us. 4. Word in coming in that student groups and civil society in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore are lending their support. JNU has already seen an effigy burning and another gathering organised. Univ of Hyd, is gearing for election, and have a week left until code of conduct kicks in, yet they are organising a gathering. Word has even reached Rajasthan and Haryana; through student networks from here. International media has not fully picked up, the Kafila article went great distances, so far TRAP, Occupy, Anonymous have not responded [we have contacted them]. Here is one place where you can help, please bombard the facebook pages of radical media. 5. *********IMPORTANT********** On Saturday there is a MEGA RALLY. This is where we all must put FULL EFFORTS INTO. Look at the movement- Pre-Violence: 200-400 people; 17th Rally: 5000-7000 people; 18th Rally: 9000-10,000 people. 20th MEGA RALLY: 20,000-25,000 people (my guess and our hope) BUT, THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF WORD SPREADS LIKE CANCER. Do the following:- Call 10 people, explain to them the entire story, take your time, convince them about why we need to do this. Tell them pass it forward. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT WE CAN FULLY ACHIEVE THE DEMANDS IF WE KEEP PRESSING ON. THIS WALL **C A N** FALL. THE VC WILL HAVE TO RESIGN AND A CASE WILL START AGAINST VC AND POLICE.
