Kamla Bhasin ji made really great points & I totally agree with her. Seems like a very intelligent lady. I clearly remember what she said in Season 1 episode about Domestic Violence. Har ek word yaad hai unka mujhe Respect to her. Also kudos to Deepika, Kangana & Parineeti for coming on the show because Im sure a lot actresses might have refused to talk on this issue because they do such type of demeaning roles in movies very often eg. Sonakshi, Katrina, Kareena etc. But I want to say that the movies where the hero demeans & harasses the heroine & still gets her in the end, are far more dangerous & influencing than item numbers. Why only blame actresses for item songs? Why should we not blame these actors like Akshay, Ajay, Salman etc. who behave atrociously with heroine in almost every movie like shes his property. SMH! Salute to Aamir that he included scenes from his movies too in that clip. Though Kangana & Deepika have done a movie in the past where they were objectified I want to pat of their back for discussing this issue & being brave enough to come on this show. Kangana spoke very well & Im glad she rejected cheap item numbers. Though in most of their films Kangana, Deepika & Parineeti have had meaty roles, I really hope Deepika stands by what she said today that she will be very careful from now on about the roles she does, in fact all 3 ladies have great roles in their upcoming films Lastly I agree with what Deepika said, women actually do like men who are expressive & sensitive. If you dont believe me you can ask my girlfriend :D
