crazy!! went to my routine dr appointment at OU (I see a twin specialist up there) and went from really tired to really sick in about 30 minutes and so they sent me upstairs to the OB ER for a flu test and to be monitored for awhile. The plan was if I seemed worse after a couple hours they were going to keep me overnight. After 2 hours and a negative rapid flu test, they sent me on my way. Well I got worse and worse so the next morning around 4am, I decided I needed to go back to the doctor. It was not until 9am that I made myself go to Shawnee Labor and Delivery to be checked out. I was extremely weak and could not stop coughing. It was 10am and they immediately hooked me up to IVs and monitors. I ended up receiving 3 bags of fluids, all kinds of meds and then around 7:30pm they told me I was still really dehydrated and that I should stay overnight to receive more fluids. They said I was okay to home if I wanted too, it was my call. Being there 10 hours all alone, I was bored, really tired and ready to go home. Besides It was Dustys birthday! Thankfully my friend Mindy Brown helped me out once again and made dinner for Dusty and even made him a cake!!! Since the Dr said I was okay to go home and it was my call I was released at 8pm. BABIES ARE GREAT and PERFECT!!!!!! very active!!! no concern there!! I feel a tad bit better today, coughing is under control, i am drinking lots, but I am really congested! I have attempted to clean house today up an hour at a time and then in bed an hour. I dont want to over do it. I would love some homemade chicken and noodle soup that my mother-in-laws makes, some Kleenex with lotion for sure!!! and some vicks as mine has vanished into some unknown land. chocolate pudding sounds wonderful too!!!! and poor Dusty is starting to feel ill now too. Bowdie is better thank goodness!!
