dear mom,couldnt make it up to see you today, i know i know but honest it was not possible with charlie coming home to see his mom for the first time in 4 months so really had to be here cos hes only 18 and ive had 50 odd mothers days with you in my life.I do know that even if i had of come to oxford to see you it would of been nice but i also know that you would not remember that id been there but we would of laughed a lot for a few hours eh .i know that im locked in your heart somewhere and you having trouble finding the key to my door as you are with jon and deb,and to be honest we know you prob never will,but for all the other mothers days we had together i thank you with all my heart,you will always be my mom thro the rest of eternity so i will make up for today with some nice thoughts ...... hope you got out card ............................... all my love, your son , Paul
