did anyone notice a bunch of security hired this week by the cash-strapped city? If I am right, its probably the same bunch who provided security at the Civic Centre during the Salmon Festival beer garden...wonder what the city is paying for this security detail...yes the main point of contention is the pension fund but when you fire five guys in May then award contracts totalling close to $500,000 makes one wonder just how tight things are in Campbellton. Am guessing if it costs a lot to pay the companies $150 an hour for snow removal, taxes will go up and city council will blame the union..every one of the people on council must go, who is going to run against them?
