does anyone know why a female blue merle sheltie would be fearful on coming in and out of a back or front doorway. I have had her since she was 7 wks old and she is now 2 and a half yrs. old and it takes an act of Congress to get her in or out the door. I throw treats even bought another dog to show her there is nothing harmful in the doorway. She has NEVER be hurt by the door shutting on her and no one has abused her. It isnt fun chasing her around the house to get her to go outside or it isnt fun when she is barking at the door to come back inside and when u open it she just stands there looking at u and she wont come in. CRAZY ...
