due to the unexplained existence of dark energy, time and space expand faster and faster, rather than slower over time, which should be the case, given our understanding of relativity. perhaps this is why every year seems to pass more quickly than the last, or perhaps our perception is subject to forces that are more difficult to quantify than modern physics. either way, to me, every year seems shorter than the last, so im convinced that i should just treat people the way i want to be treated. i learned that in grade 1.
