dump the monarchy. all monarchies. put them on a ship and scuttle it at scapa flow like the outdated hardware that they are. stronger together? stronger together to dae what? to have no power whatsoever to determine how the Scottish people want to be governed? by the way, thats not called strength. its called a doormat. and London wipes its soles all over it. cos what youre saying is the Scottish people are incapable of doing this, incapable of looking after themselves, incapable of being resilient, resourceful and intelligent - so much so we need others to do it for us. what youre saying is we lack the capacity to think critically about economic, social, environmental and political decisions that will affect millions of people in Scotland. in effect, what youre saying is we need other people from other countries determining how we should live cos were scared of the responsibility and the imagination and the old fashioned hard graft that well need to pull ourselves out of this quagmire consecutive governments at Downing Street have dragged us into. does that strike you as a fair comment about Scottish people - that were pretty much scared, lazy and dull ? because if thats the case, youre saying that almost 5.5 million people should just accept for our own good an undemocratic situation in exchange for propping up banksters in London, war-mongers in London, politicians intent on carrying through their defunct austerity ideology in - guess where? London. Its one of the largest city economies in the world. think about it. one of the largest. why then does close to 1 million people in Scotland live in poverty? thats atrocious - 1 in 5 people. unionist or not, to ignore these facts is criminal, scandalous, shocking at the worst, short sighted at the best and utterly cruel. these are people who want to live their lives with their families and pals, have fulfilling working lives, educate themselves, travel, celebrate birthdays, start school, get treated with care in hospitals, stay warm in winter and warmish in summer, and cheer on the fitba team of their fancy. however, if you allow yourself to be jostled into the fear game by Cameron, Clegg, Miliband, Farage - even David Bowie - and vote no, what youre actually saying is naw, its awright. everythins fine. seriously. everythins just fine. hunky dory. people tell me the other way will be harder eh. so ah may as well nae bother tryin. cos of history. cos of the monarchy. cos of oil. cos of trident. cos oor boys in the forces away fightin in wars the people nivir wanted in the first place, but the British government did it anyway. because of tradition. and flags. and stupid songs. cos well be stronger together. honestly. right noos peachy. well, that poverty stat says otherwise and only keeps climbing every year and - the best part - theres no end in sight. Scottish votes count. you can tell - the powers at be are trying to cram those whore thinking of voting no into their nets with the lure of further devo powers. well, funny they should be offering that now, eh? i understand those whore thinking of voting no, and their apprehension for voting yes because of their unionist ideology. but please dont fool yourselves that the present situation is fine. its not. dwell on the future, not the past. and, ultimately, Scotland will be stronger together, but only when were independent and can determine our own destiny.
