d’Explosafe®, dwipa extra effort production low pressure well safety system: Across the world oil production has gone passed peak production. Clearly, the days of easy oil is long gone. With soaring demand and depleting reserves, one thing is clear, every oil company in the world is scrambling to maximize their production. With matured oil field many wells are no longer producing or producing very little oil. Not so much due to depleted reserves but due to declining reservoir pressure. A total solution service package, aid at enhancing client’s field production time, in a short lead time. Oil is extracted by capitalizing on a basic concept of fluid dynamics where high pressure mass will flow to lower pressure region. The inherent high pressure at reservoirs is used to provide the energy driving flow pushing the hydrocarbon out of the wells onto the platform. The greater the pressure difference the greater the flow rate will be. Typically, a number of wells are grouped together to flow into a main production line and this production line is set to run at a specific pressure level to optimize the extraction. Over time as oil is being produced well pressure will begin to drop and it will continue to drop until such time when certain well pressure will fall close to production line pressure leading insufficient pressure to drive the flow up to the main line. These wells will then be shut down even when there still oil left in the wells. If these non producing wells are not producing due to low pressure, lowering the surface pressure even lower until you create high enough pressure difference will get these wells flowing again. Simple and genius idea! But the trick is to do it without affecting your current producing main production line. Many wells are grouped together and some good wells are producing healthily. Touching the main production line would be full hardy. Also the economics must be right too. And this is the very essence of what our d’Explosafe® seeks out to do. A total solution service package of a low pressure system that will rejuvenate client’s field production within a short time of cycle. It works by rerouting low or non-producing wells to a low pressure separator running at near atmospheric pressure thus increasing the flow rate and do so in a control and safe manner. Using temporary storage tanks and high pressure pump, the produced fluid are then pump back to the main production pipeline.
