eLearning Programmer Internship-Crew Training International by Robyn CTI - Crew Training International INTERNSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION Title: eLearning Programmer (1 position) Location: Memphis, TN – Corporate Office MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience Training and Experience: 3-7 years in implementing and maintaining automation applications using industry standard technologies. General Skills: Must be able to develop web based applications using up-to-date software applications and techniques. Knowledge of object oriented analysis and design and relational database applications will be helpful. Customer service for both internal and external clients is a must. The ability to handle multiple tasks, flexibility in work assignments, be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, creative problem solving, possess good interpersonal and written communication skills, and be able to work in both an independent and team environment is highly desired. Must be able to learn using limited and/or multiple resources and have a willingness to share knowledge with the team. Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SharePoint software and SharePoint programming. Proficient in adminstration software and network management software. Proficient in backup or archival software and data disaster recovery software. Proficient in configuration management software and application management software. Proficient in enterprise application integration software. Proficient in internet directory services software – Active directory software; Domain Name Systems (DNS) software; Network addressable storage (NAS) software. Knowledge of network operating system enhancement software – Management Information Base (MIB) softwrae; Network, server and operating system optimizsation software; Operating system process control software. Knowledge of network security or Virtual Private Network (VPN) management software – Intrustion Prevention System (IPS) software; Network and siystem vulnerability assessment software. Knowledge of transaction sercurity and virus protection software – encryption software. Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance of “Secret” or higher. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Help install and maintain CTI’s training automation application systems. Suggest new enhancements or updates to make training automation applications more efficient. Ability to apply standard programming procedures Recognize probable interactions of other related programs and be familiar with related system software and computer equipment. Solve conventional programming issues and maintain programs which concern or combine several operations. Develop programs where one is primary and others provide input. Function as the Network Administrator. Ensure compliance withUSAF communication standards. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures. Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
