eadonpura Durga Puja This puja was started with a very humble budget of Rs. 3000 back in 1983 and the committee does a great job in carrying out the festival within a modest budget. The Organizing Committee of this puja is deeply attached to its roots in Kolkata and brings artists from its rural areas to decorate the pandal. The whole pandal is beautifully engraved with a series of beautiful pakati/jute artwork and it is commendable that the puja does not invite any sponsors for the event and is wholly dependent only on donations from the trader community of the area
