...earlier this afternoon, I listened as Mona Quartey, a Deputy Minister of Finance, told big, fat, brazen lies about the whereabouts of the US$1Billion proceeds from the Sovereign Bond issued recently. My jaw literally dropped to the floor (almost) in wonderment at how a woman, born of another woman, can lie in public without missing a beat! And when she sought to impugn the impeccable reputation of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whose sandals shes not fit to even see, by suggesting that Bawumia made those statements at a political rally (and what if it even was), I realised, there and then, that Fiifi Kwetey has found his soul mate.
