early 1970s after arriving from going as far as I could from my draft board to California, I returned to NYC and Boston, Boston to become my new home became a sacred ground for a young kid to make a name for himself in music. With the assistance and extended family of many of the finest musicians of the era, I was lucky enough to carve a place for myself. It was a large tapestry. Bonnie Raitt, Peter Wolf, John Koerner, Reeve Little, Peter Bell, Larry Luddecke, Aerosmith, Chris Smither, Patrick Sky,Jonathan Edwards, James Montgomery, Liv James, Kate, Hugh and Alex Taylor, on and on and my manager Don Law who helped a green kid get a leg up. And one very special one, Jeff Golub. We shared a wonderful teacher Mick Goodrich. We also stole his drummer Michael Dawe to finish out or 3rd American tour. I hope you forgive us for that Jeff. We have lived through a rich era. Let us not forget the notes in heart and soul it spelled out. Come help us celebrate Jeffs legacy January 21 at BB. Kings, NYC. I will be present if not playing on a worldwide bill who hold this man dear in our hearts.
