elements | God’s Judgment Lesson 3 Dear Parents, We just completed our final lesson on God’s judgment. This study was really a great time of learning with the students. This week we led the students to understand that being justified by God should compel them to be agents of God’s justice in this world. We looked at the following Scripture passages: • Matthew 23:23 • Luke 3:7-14 We took the opportunity this week to help the students flesh out what doing justice practically looks like in their contexts. Next Steps . . . As you have the time, you might want consider following up with your student by asking the following questions: • Where do you see injustice happening in your world? • If you could really choose one place to plug in and make a difference, where would it be? What causes are you passionate about? What can we do as a family to help? If you have any questions about this week’s lesson, please don’t hesitate to call me. We are having the hay ride 5 pm October 19 @ Allan and Pam Simmons house. We need Parents to help out with the hayride and to bring soups, Desserts and drinks. Please help make this a great night!
