Reporting to the Team Leader Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue relating to advertising sales in the MANAGEMENT Magazine. Successful candidates will be required to proactively engage clients and sell them advertising and marketing solutions available in the magazine and will work with monthly targets. Person Profile: • A degree/diploma in sales and marketing. • At least two years’ experience in selling media or advertising space for broadcast or print media. • Solution-oriented with ability to proactively come up with unique sales concepts. • Ability to network and make creative presentations. • Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills. • Able to work in a team. • Aged between 23-40 years. The job holder will be required to: • Achieve and/or exceed the monthly targets arising from advertising sales. • Increase advertising client portfolio to achieve and /or exceed set targets. • Collect payment from clients and ensure a debt free client list. • Develop contractual advertising relationships with clients. • Maintain effective customer service exceeding the clients’ expectations at all times. • Collect feedback from clients and other contacts. • Represent the supervisor at various networking forums that could generate business. • Develop sales proposals, presentations and close deals. • Provide weekly and monthly reports. • Develop and maintain a database of key clients and advertising agency contacts.
