The 9-year-old boy was walking to school Wednesday on Crescent Street about 8:30 a.m. when a white van pulled over to the side of the road in front of him, police said. A passenger got out of the van and, according to child, began to come towards him with his arms out, LeGrice said. At that point the student turned around and ran back home.
