#evangelismchallenge Older white woman who didnt want to be prayed for or talked to about the gospel, even though she looked depressed. I wasnt even embarrassed or feeling rejected. Guess Ive come a long way, though it DID take me a while to work up my nerve to talk to her. Now I always ask myself, whats the worst that could happen? Whats the best that could happen? And the best scenario always outweighs the worst. Green line, sat next to a 20ish blond girl who didnt look like the type who would be open to talking about God, but surprisingly she was! She said she knew Jesus, but judging from the hesitancy of her answers, it didnt seemed like she had fully embraced Him as her Savior. I shared some of the gospel as she told me about her job as a pediatric oncologist. Since many of her young patients die young, she was learning about other religions and how they deal with death. I pray that she gets a divine revelation bc shes in such a perfect position to witness to these young cancer patients! I was feeling pretty good so when this really old guy sat next to me I was feeling talkative. He was from a Russian dad in the 1800s (wowee) and mom from Chelsea so I figured he was Jewish. I prayed for him and shared the story of Jesus which I was basically sharing with the whole train bc he was hard of hearing. He told me that I made his day after I prayed for him. I encouraged him to read his Bible, especially the book of John. My friend Danny told me he read the tract from Dr. Mike Evans. It made me happy bc he said, I only read it bc you gave it to me. If anyone else had given it to me, like one of those nutters (yes he really said that) on the street I wouldnt have read it. Lol
