ever have one of those days when you just plain get so involved in something it is 5:30 and you suddenly realize you have had nothing all day but 1 cup of coffee with vanilla soy milk and a morning "green drink" (the powdered stuff). Solution? 1 quart of green stuff: Chinese spinach, chinese cabbage, 1 carrot, leaf lettuce, 1 cup blueberries, 1/2 banana and kale. beat the daylights out of it with a 1 1/2 cups clean water. drink that baby down..... Then at 6 I had a peanut butter and banana sandwich and a glass of iced orange juice. thin sliced whole grain bread (2 slices are 160 calories), q 1/2 tbs of Skippy (yes I am fully aware of all the natural peanut butters and require no lecture. sometimes comfort food is just better) and the other half of my banana. I can feel that green drink swarming through my veins as I type and will thoroughly enjoy my sandwich now. Have a good evening all.
