everyone who knows me knows Im type 1 diabetic, and they also know how when I talk about it I make it seem like a breeze. however, the reality is pricking yourself at least 8 times a day. making sure you always have supplies with you, making sure your blood sugar is always in line. calculating carbs, and of course dosing with your pump, needles or pen. there is much more to the reality, along with the stress of the people who love and care about me and want me to be healthy. my parents, boyfriend, siblings and best friends all know more than the normal person would about diabetes.
