excuse the bad language but this kid does have a point. Alot of teachers now days do their job to just get a paycheck instead of having a interest in their students and their education. When I was a substance abuse counselor it was the same thing. I counseled adolescent boys and you could throw them work packets all day and not get anywhere but you have to listen to them and feel in your heart that they are a person and not just another client to finish paperwork. Sometimes you just need to just shut up and listen and feel where they are at. when you talk to them you need to talk about things that may not be a part of the program but something that you know they need and they have never had at home and in life. Teachers need to have a heart for their students and make them feel cared for besides just the learning.
