*excuse the venting* I have about *had it* with The Woodlands and their renovations. They asked all of us who renewed to pull everything out of our living room and kitchen for *17 days* so they could touch up the paint in the main rooms. 17 days for touch up. (I complained but ultimately complied. I have limited use of my own kitchen for half a month. Though I managed to keep most of the stuff out of my bedroom and stored it in the laundry room, at least.) Then they told us they would put a sign on the front door telling the crews that someone was still present in the apartment... This never happened and of course a worker walked in on me in my pajamas yesterday morning. (He didnt speak English so we had an awkward exchange with hands before he said (I think) that they would come back.) Last night, I came home late after giving them time to do whatever it is they were doing to find a half eaten piece of pizza and an empty Gatorade bottle sitting on my front porch, every light on (even the ones in the bedrooms I cant access. Keep in mind Im still paying utilities), a puddle of free standing water by the back door, the back door left UNLOCKED, and someones random water bottle in my freezer. And of course, no one that works in the office is of any use. I dont usually post bad things about peoples businesses, but this is ridiculous. I have never encountered such an unhelpful group of people. If it wasnt for the apartment itself, location, and the fact that all my junk is already here, I dont think I would have renewed.
