first week of offseason comes to a close - nothing fancy, just some good ole raw work, working with reps of 5, still pushing the rpe near 8 and 9s... I find it rather difficult to hit rpe correctly with higher reps, just because you never know how 1 rep will dictate from another - I have seen people struggle with 2 of their first reps and blow it up like its play weight on the 3rd and final rep. What made finding rpe easy this week with rep range of 5 - it is the first week. I have never gone in guns blazing on week 1 - find a common ground, hit it for another set and if it feels like I need to go up than I will. JB gave me option of bar choice for my squats in offseason, and since I have the tendency to tip forward a little with heavier weights on my squat, I figured best way to target it - Safety squat bar. Squats - 5x5 w/ 3 working sets close stance pause squats (2second counts(rushed a little a times)) 5x3sets Single leg GM - 3x10 GHR - 3x10
