for over 40 years the left has been on the ideological retreat to marketization, our party has even been largely infiltrated by neo-liberal reformers like Keating, when will the left finally abandon neo-liberalism? it is largely the reason for such a huge amount of political disengagement by the public: because they can vote for one jackass to screw them or another the only way for the left to become relevant again is to define an actual agenda that is not were not as bad as the lnp so much has happened to debunk marketization in the last six years, yet there has been no change within the parties of the left. we need policies that will fly in the face of the corporate elite, to the benefit of working people and small business, we need to come out and confess that being a high taxing government on high earners is not a bad thing. Lets talk policy here people: its time for a wealth tax to fund public services and renationalize key assets like power and water
