force breeds fear, and fear is more disciplinary dan love, i prefer u fear me dan love me.......discipline is a training or control, often using a system of punishment, aimed at producing obedience to rules. From discipline i proceed to its corollary disciplinarian which means a person who believes in or maintains strict discipline. Nw wot is fear? Fear simply means an unpleasant feeling caused by the possibility of danger, pain, etc. In other words, when one fear somebody or something, it means that he / she is trying to avoid a very possible danger that wil come to him. (proverbs 1:7). But love and fear works together. Now what is love? Love according to hornby (1998) is a strong feeling of deep affection for somebody or something. True love gives and expect nothing in return, example love the lord your God wit all up might. MIGHT here means in our cash and kind possessions.....To bring this argument much closer, you can not love someone or something and not give out something in appreciation. God himself initiated this tacit amorous doctrine in the gospel of john. for God so love the world that he have his only begotten son... now my question is do you really love God so much as to give all your money and life for him, OR is your love based on what you will get from God like promotion, wealth, success in academics. Etc. Or you love God because you as afraid of going to hell? As a wife do you captain from conjugal infidelity because you really love your spouse or because you are afraid of being caught in the act? As a child, do you obey your parents out of love or do you do this to avert punishment from them?....i want to believe that you know the right answer to this question but you may not be quite free to answer them correctly. For me my answer is not in the affirmative because according to my G.N.S 102 lecturer we are only free when we are not free to break the law with his quote i can easily posit that some people may want to break the law but are restrained from such actions by the inevitable consequences of such actions. For example in a sharia state a poor and hungry muslim may want to steal food to feed himself but when it dawns on him that he might have one of his hands amputated if he carries out this thought he will prefer to rather continue in hunger. Now by so doing can he be said to love the country or just dear for the law? For the last time i ask: is our relationship both with God and our fellow men borne out of love or dear of the consequences? But before you even attempt to answer this question, let me quickly steer your mind to this fear and love are contradictory; FOR WHO YOU FEAR, YOU CANNOT LOVE.
