**from ZimEye** Gokwe Businessman Burnt Down Bus, School, and Bank Buildings Using Juju A Gokwe businessman and his accomplices are behind the mysterious fires that erupted and destroyed one of the biggest flea markets, a bank and a school, ZimEye has been told. In a wide range investigation involving comprehensive interviews, with traditional leaders, business community and local church leaders, that include prophets, and overseers, it has been exposed that a named businessman and his colleagues, (names supplied) are behind the breathtaking fires that left many people out of employment. Gokwe’s flea market has a total of more than 400 families, whose goods and property worth more than $1m were destroyed, after the flea market was gutted by a mysterious fire, reducing the double stand building into rubbish dump. The three men whose businesses were exposed to ZimEye, as Bookshop, Furniture and Sports bar with grocery shops, are said to be dubiously acquired, without community trace and acclaim of their fly by night riches. Asked to shed light on the get rich fast men, a traditional leader who is busy organising meetings to discuss and come up with a way forward, told ZimEye that, the three accused, met in the middle of the night to carry out their monetary rituals. The business magnates are said to be using a two headed lizard with double tip tail, to extract money from banks and other business community, without their consent. According to a vendor who sells her wares at the main bus terminus, the three culprits who are known for their juju notoriety, have also cats that roam at the bus terminus, a move that is calculated to steal cash from unsuspecting transport operators using juju methods. The cats are said to be strategically positioned on two places, thus entrance and outlet, to make sure the money is acquired vigorously, with minimum sweat. Sources who refused to be named for fear of reprisals, told ZimEye that one of the dubious businessmen was deliberately operating a space in the flea market in a manoeuvre to steal income from others using his so called “super powers”. The man is said to have angered the spirits after they clashed in the air and had a conflict concerning his way of extracting riches from the innocent and unsuspecting community. He was said to have been warned, but ignored, leading to the clashing of his powers and that of the ancestors of the land. One day in August, the man and his colleagues went to Harare to collect their goods they had ordered from Dubai. The goods were transported by a bus whose trip to Gokwe was cut short, when the bus got gutted by a mysterious fire. The fire reduced the bus and everything else, but not that man’s three refrigerators and some of his goods. When the goods were placed in the flea market for sale, after the fire escape, the following day the flea market was found reduced to a shell, by a mysterious fire. According to another businessman who refused to be identified, the same mysterious fire gutted the CBZ Bank and two schools. Chief Njelele, whose jurisdiction is full of mystery dramas, told ZimEye that he is in the process of consulting other traditional leaders, to deal with this issue once and for all. Pastor Tshili of a Gokwe based church ministry, also condemned the evil activities and called on the community to seek God’s kingdom, to guide them and lessen them from this agony. This journalist was also threatened with unspecified action if this story was going to be published, as one of the perpetrators, refused to comment, referring all questions to the one who he said rumoured everything to me. “Ukangonyora uchamama mufana,” literally meaning that if you write that story you will suffer.
