good Friday morning yall !!!! TGIF was never so welcome as it is today...after a 52 hr week of using SDAF and dealing with disgruntled techs, Im pure-dee frazzled BUT its much better now cuz Im off today & tomorrow. gonna go see Dr P & get popped around then tomorrow plan to see some old work friends (both literally & figuratively) at Marianos & to welcome back to Texas Leslie Hanlon Harris, visiting from New Zealand...odd things that cross my mind: in the movie The Alamo (John Waynes version), the Academy Award nominated song that was played throughout was a ditty penned by Dimitri Tiomkin called The Green Leaves of Summer- uh, yall, the Alamo fell in MARCH (guess Green Leaves of Nearly Spring wasnt quite so lyrical, huh? )...nuthin better than a sweet, juicy cantaloupe and I just cut one up the other night that I got down at Greens Produce- yumboy ...for those that have asked, Pepper is getting along really well right now- his appetite is good and hes moving around just fine- Im loving every extra day I get with my most beautiful ginger stripey Pepper in the world !...yall have a wonderful weekend !
