good morning peeps! uhm, well almost for me--but i certainly hope it is for You :-) my head hurts a little after spending time at Poho last night with friends and imbibing a wee bit more than im accustomed to--BC powders to the rescue! :-) but it was a fun night--and i got to catch up with my buddies, some i had not seen in a while... im in a weird space this morning. cannot put my finger on what it is? it’s been an interesting week. i had lunch with a friend visiting from Dubai, and two other new friends who live here. sharing and conversations that sparked thought that’s cruising just around the edges of my consciousness. meditation only deepened fuzziness this morning, which is also not usual. plus two nights this week i had the same dreams that i remember, another rarity. one night so intense one of my roommates woke me to shake me out of it. it involved a decrepit old deformed mangled mouse. a tiny guy, no bigger than a few inches. but His legs and feet were twisted with long scaly digits, and His hair was patchy and sickly, with a long snout that was crinkly and glistening. everything about Him was kinda repulsive, but i couldn’t get away from Him. everywhere i went He was there. in doors, drawers, boxes, under things. He was omnipresent throughout. but i also felt bad for Him. He seemed so alone, yet creepy, and He was trying to tell me something but i couldn’t understand… so there is that part of the week. i also i have friends going through tumultuous times, either with their jobs or living situations, and i think that is weighing on me too. so i feel a little out of place and time right now, not congruent. normally meditation can center and balance me, but that didnt work… and now i am rambling, which i have a tendency to do. so i’m going to close this with a beautifully directed video that makes my heart smile. i don’t understand the foreign language part, but i do understand the english, so You’ll get the gist of it from that. it was shared by a friend who recently visited from Cairo for Castro Street Fair weekend.
