got back a while ago from visiting ken. he has had a busy morning. the physical therapists came and got him up and walking down the hall...then as I was leaving the PICC line nurse was there to get that put in....at home IVs are something we are getting used to, so no problem there. then the case manager came and is trying to get things set up with brooks rehab again for in house rehab. its a bit different this time, as right now he is not supposed to bend his leg and also only 50% weight bearing....so we hope they will take him. please pray that all works out, its so handy being only a few blocks from our house! Keep reassuring Ken that this is just a little hiccup in the grand scheme of things....pray he doesnt get down because the thought of not being able to bend his leg is upsetting, and so is the thought of another surgery in approx. 8 weeks....my man is a hard working guy and he likes to get down and play with the dogs and other chores that require him to bend and kneel etc. I keep telling him we will get through this.....but prayers would be appreciated to be continued because they always help. Thanks everyone for your love and support. It means the world to us. on a side note, I get to spend a little time with Pete Ramsey this sunday night he is spending the night with me! He is speaking at the camp rally thing....but I dont think I can attend that, but he is coming after. yippee,,,,,love to see my son(s) even for a short time!Phil on the other hand is going to be busy with his church event at central florida fairgrounds! they had over 1000 volunteers sign up to help the other night for a meeting....its gonna be a huge event and I am proud Phil is a part of it!Happy Thursday everyone.
