Health update: Blood work is back. My U of M liver specialist & my female surgeon are working together now. So on Monday scheduling will be in the works. I will have to be admitted one day prior to surgery for platelet infusions, then surgery the following day, then I must remain in the hospital for 2 more days to be monitored by a the liver team to make sure the surgery didnt damage my liver, spleen, or esophageal varacies (enlarged veins in my esophagus). So I will be in the hospital for a minimum of 4 days. We pray that all goes successful. The scheduling team are putting this as number one priority to get me in the hospital ASAP. We pray that it is soon, so I can get this done and over and go on with everything,plus I have Seths 15th b-day & Easter the same weekend. Now platelets change everyday so the longer they wait the more they will drop. We have full Faith in God and the Staff of Drs now that are being assembled to take care of me vs. putting me into a surgery as a healthy person and placing me in what could have been a fatal surgery.
