gotta call dumbass on myself.....😆 The steering broke on the last day of the Alabama Lake trip a couple weeks ago..... it turned out to be the original steering assembly from 1985. So .....I pull the rack and cable, order a NEW style Teleflex rack..... put it in.... worked great.... steering with fingertips. Take it to Bay Springs Lake yesterday...... excited to try it out....drop it in the water....... and WTF??? ...... its steering backwards. Hahahaaaa. what I dumbass I am.......old age I guess....it took a week to get the new steering in .....I forgot the correct position.....and put the helm in upside down........😳 so I spent the day cruising CAREFULLY. fixing it this morning...
