grrrrrr, just had a heated discussion with a rich bogan down on the foreshore of our lovely harbor. He was enjoying a few glasses of white with his girlfriend and he asked if I lived in the area. I said yes I live in social housing flats up the road. This led to a discussion on him paying taxes for my rent, how I dont contribute to society etc etc. He then said he did support social housing, just not on the harbour! I said, well you know what - after the second world war no-one (the elite) wanted to live near the harbour as they were afraid of being invaded by the Soviets, like when the japanese subs entered Sydney Harbour. So, all the housing on the harbour was inhabited by the working class and social housing was built there too. Now they want it back - like the Rocks. Fight for your right to have a nice view regardless of whether you are a nueveau rich bastard or a person in social housing.
