had my birthday dinner last night at MIGUELS . wow what a great hidden treasure in sarasota. cozy french farm house decor, wonderfull staff. i had shrimp sauteed in butter and garlic. a salad, some snails of course in butter and garlic, that was the beggining. i ordered the steak diane. its beautiful beef slow cooked and put in a puff pastry. wonderful. plus the bartender was kind enough to make my favorite drink 1 oz vodka half port wine and half lime juice, called a RED DOG well 3 of them hehehe.....and for dessert bananas foster made at table side . im really really full.....not expensive either. most fancy places are 12-16 for entrees there its only 5-8 steak most places are 20-30 at MIGUELS 15-24
