had some French kid in my taxi last night. new to the USA. i asked him if he knew about this car. he said, no. i told him a little bit about Smoky and the Bandit and he said he was trying to learn about American films and mentioned that he had just watched The Graduate. told him he should watch Fast Times At Ridgemont High and the Warriors. I also mentioned Caddy Shack, Apocalypse Now and the Godfather. anyhow, this Trans Am was a conversation starter. now all of you know that I have a high standard for movies....
