handled so wrongly this is... that is the issue.. not the change..I have dealt with change failure before.. not good seeing how much a schools lack of knowledge affects a child, then household...I have dealt with major change in lifes learning pathways, when handled correctly.. go EXTREMELY smoothly.. it is just a learnt task.. how to guide change to kids with needs..nothing in textbooks show how to do this.. as a SPECTRUM my children are on.. each childs way of coping varies day to day... So much lacks in this decision to not integrate.. I understand the SEP has to go.. BUT ..To tell us in the last seconds of term 4... lack of communication here is chronically bad, lack of time to integrate children with overload issues.. safety issues not being bought up.. emotional issues - short and long term for children whom dont handle sensories well, Other questions like...where to drop our children off? Who is our childs teacher? Where i his or her class? Teachers experience, Aids experience.. how many hours per day our childs funding allows? OH&S risk factors assessment for both our children and mainstream.. as so many dangerous tools will be close at hand, to be thrown, as children melt down.. and meltdown they soo do soo well! .. This all could have been done smoothly.. if integrated, planned professionally, and guided via hands who knows our children the best... the integration of change guides how our children will be guided through lifes paths of change... Yes I KNOW the SEP is to go.. but what will be there.. what do they do there? When do they go there? If they go there.. do they miss out on education? Do our children have to suddenly be taught their age appropriate lessons.. as I know the curriculum for age .. my son so will fail.. and when he fails.. he cant communicate.. he just throws things.. chairs, books get ripped up.. his shoes are a weapon... so hence my OH&S risk assessment question.. I do not want my son harmed or to harm others..
