has been thinking about carrier bags. Given that oil is running out - or at least, becoming problematic to source because its mostly those pesky foreigners or the Scotch that sell it to us - we probably shouldnt be wasting what little we have to make plastic bags. Particularly because the lefties dont like the idea of fracking the hell out of the north despite the fact that its miles away so wouldnt really affect civilised people. But what to use as a replacement? Dave reckons carrier bags should be made from rice paper, because then, once you got your shopping back home you could eat the bags so we wouldnt end up with landfill crammed full of plastic carrier bags. Dave is pleased that he has come up with an environmentally friendly idea, and may celebrate by going to the pub this afternoon.
