have to share Tim Stowers status Tim Stowers 46 minutes ago near Hurricane, WV As I watch all the commercials and look at the ads for Easter,it makes me sad that the world does not understand what Easter is about. Its not about bunnies,dresses or candy.Its about The Savior.His name is Jesus Christ.He left his home in Heaven and took upon flesh. He lived a sinless life on earth. He healed the sick,raised the dead and preached love and forgiveness.He was betrayed by one of his disciples.After being arrested,he was given trials that were full of lies about him and his ministry. His own people yelled crucify him,crucify him.He was beaten,spit on,mocked and rejected.Then he carried his own cross and was led to a place called Calvary. They nailed him to a cross between two thieves.He faced more ridicule and mockery.Then they drove a spear in his side.If that was not enough,he bore the weight of mine and your sin upon himself.God could not look upon his own son because of our sin.He died a cruel,painful and lonely death.Satan and his demons rejoiced. But,that was not the end.Because three days later he arose from that dark tomb.And now he is in Heaven sitting at the right hand of the Father.Hes waiting on you to repent and trust him as your Savior.If you do that he will grant you eternal life.John 14:6 Jesus said unto them,I am the way,the truth and the life no man cometh unto the Father,but by me.Happy Easter!
