...…having a good day at New York City Independent Budget Office. So incredibly inspiring to discuss the importance of the 50th anniversary of the #MarchOnWashington with a few of my (American) colleagues—it’s amazing to listen to someone recount exactly how old they were and where they were during the #MarchOnWashington. It’s different to read about the civil rights movement like I did when I was in high school (here in America)—which can sometimes seem so abstract and far away—and then to listen to someone’s personal story or someone’s family oral history about that incredible day of protest. I am officially having one of THE best days at work…Forever learning. #SocialJustice
