having had a bit to do with hospitals, including emergency, over the past few weeks, I hope everyone will read the story in todays SMH from the nurse at Liverpool Hospital Emergency I am in awe of these people....their cheerfulness, their efficiency, their teamwork, their attention to detail and kindness to patients partners, how hard they work to remove fear, how incredibly hard they work period, the huge amount of paperwork and attached reponsibility..............their day is over when its over...and emergency is particulalry gruelling I thought. Nursing shortages need addressing urgently . What can be done?
