hay ce:p q̓ə My COPE family.!!..u believed in me, supported me, guided me. Youve shown me a new way to live. A way to use my voice and truth. A way to share my experiences. All in hopes & with full intention, of being helpful. Youve helped me to shine my light. To feel my strength. To see my value. U encourage me to be bold. TO not let fear stop me. To do what must be done. I;ve never really felt this way before. I like it. Uve been patient and gentle with me. Never hurt me or my feelings. On a dour but necessary-to-address-it note,I know there are those who say Ive been used for political gain, thats simply not the truth. To the folks who say that, Im damned if do, damned if dont participate in the politics that run our city. I know what its like to used, to have my energy and willingness to helpful be exploited. I am not a fool. I have lived long enough and experienced enough to recognize the diff btw light and dark. I stand by my COPE family and all they represent. Thank u to all who ran for Parks, School or City. U;ve shared the great gift of YOU with the city. You;ve inspired. Youve paved new political paths. You;ve done GOOD work. Granny says so :D
