headspace Noarlunga is pleased to announce that we will be part of the 2015 Fringe Festival line-up showcasing three short films. Working with some of South Australia’s finest upcoming talent, our ‘Inside Your headspace: A Film Project’ series of short films aims to tackle stigma and raise awareness about issues that young people face every day. Tom Russell (AFI Nominee: Best Young Actor, Last Ride 2009), Ronan Banks (The Bugles Call 2014), Patch Oliver (Anzac Girls 2014) join the team in three distinctly different, yet all equally poignant shorts. Alongside Adelaide’s Media Resource Centre, headspace Noarlunga strived to produce a set of high-quality films to shed some light on issues that often go unnoticed or are misunderstood. Monday provides an insight into the common stress and anxiety associated with school life and exams and Message Sent is a short based on the consequences and dangers of social media and peer–pressure, and how the law plays a role. Zach, the project’s feature short film is the hardest hitting. This powerful film is about two young men, trying to combat bullying and mainstream pressure, while struggling to learn more about their identities and their relationship. This red carpet premiere event will also play host to live music performances from South Australia’s own Cecelia Dolores WHEN: 6 pm, Wednesday March 4, 2015 WHERE: Mercury Cinema, 13 Morphett St, Adelaide SA TICKETS: Through FingeTIX, adelaidefringe.au/fringetix All tickets $15.00 TREv members $10.00 Companion Card holders FREE For all enquiries, please contact Shane via [email protected]
