heres a slightly better post about my track bike: pictures: imgur/a/elROd if you want more/different pics PM me. Its a 98 Kawasaki ZX6R, some pics attached of it in its current condition. As you can see Ive stripped most of the fairings and made a fibreglass copy of top cowl - was planning to run it naked but after looking at forums apparently it runs a lot better with the air intakes cos the resonators are massive. Also wanted screen to tuck in behind on the straights. Theres one pic of it when I picked it up, its in purple. Got all the road gear (headlights, tail light etc etc) sitting around, but the fairings are a bit scratched. It has: -Danmoto adjustable rearsets -Megacycle exhaust -Unpainted fibreglass top cowl -Renthal 520 chain -Tsubaki -1/+1 sprockets (faster acceleration) -Tinted double bubble screen -CNC black shorty levers (not fitted in pic) -Sintered pads front and back -New discs front and back -Wezmoto braided steel lines -K&N filter -Bar end sliders -Spool sliders (not fitted - right spool snapped off, could be welded back on but its aluminium) -Hyperpro fork springs (and forks serviced when fitted) -Hyperpro shock spring -Renthal soft compound grips Freshly serviced - got motul 10w40 4100 in there at the moment and a fresh oil filter ALL mods only done like 10km. Theres probably some random shit sitting around like spark plugs and oil filters, and Ill throw some decent Bridgestone S20s on for the sale. At the moment it runs badly. we were trying to balance carbies by ear and got it to run ok from 7k-14k rpm but below that the revs hang - probly too lean. backfires under decel which also makes me think lean. last test ride i went on it was cutting power and backfiring like crazy under load though, so i think either valve clearances need doing or needs new fuel pump. mate has one sitting around that i think should work but i havent got around to testing it out and honestly cbf. decided to just buy something newer with fuel injection as i hate carbies.
